Play Day

Last Sunday was play day for The Queen and her band of Merry Followers! Linda, Gayle and guest Follower Sharon had a lovely day - Lyn was MIA. I set the girls 2 challenges....

I tried to get the pictures in order but Blogger has done it again and messed them up so I'm going with the order Blogger decides!

This first picture is of our efforts for the day on Linda's lovely sideboard:


The first challenge that Blogger has uploaded for me is the Darkroom Door challenge. The girls were given a bag of goodies from the Venetian Collection.

We all had a fantastic day and the hours just fly by. It's a shame we had to stop to eat lunch but it was so worth it! Thanks Linda!!

We won't be getting together again until next year but I'm looking forward to it already!!

My Weekend Lament

Just like every working mum the world over, my weekend consists of doing laundry. Now if you had a laundry like this it would be such a pleasure. Sitting in the chair in the sunshine, catching up with your favourite magazine while the machine washes your delicates, children playing outside, life is good .....

I WISH!

I currently have 4 of these lining the hallway:

After the week we've had here with Adam & me both being sick with the tummy lurgy; the line is full before I even start. Melbourne's weather is not good drying weather at the moment either!

Oh well, before we know it Monday will be here and it will all start again!


Tomorrow morning is also dog wash day!

The newest male in our family, Max, will be having his first bath. His lovely white coat is taking on a grey tinge with the dirt he's been rolling around in.

Will have pics tomorrow of Max and his bath, including his new kennel that Ray (and with the tiniest amount of help from Adam) built.

Time to sleep and dream of beautiful laundries!
